Project Scope
Review of existing 33kV protection settings and grading studies involving SSEN South of England distribution network for Burghfield and Thatcham regions.
Our Scope
- Undertake manual settings calculations in excel spreadsheet for each type of protection i.e. distance protection, over current, earth fault, instantaneous over current
- Check the settings compliance against the latest protection settings standard issued by Operational Technology
- Identify errors by comparing against the live settings data in Maximo
- Prepare and propose new settings in Maximo and issue to field team
- Provide feedback to Operational Technology on settings constraints
- Prepare a summary overview of the settings in SLD
Our Key Attributes
- Produced a set of standard guidelines in single line drawing format to aid the understanding of protection settings calculation and methodology for IDMT relay and Distance protection.
