Project Scope
Replacement of existing 132kV line and transformer disconnectors and associated 132kV high-level conductors and associated drop wires, jump wires, insulators and connectors at Rownham substation and replacement of existing 132kV CT’s and VT’s at Nursling substation.
Our Scope
- Production of detailed engineering design drawings for primary plant comprising red and green drawings for switchyard plan and elevations, clamps and connectors, earthing details, CDM plan, designer’s risk register log
- Production of steelwork key drawings
- Check and review equipment manufacturer and fabricators design drawings to ensure the design is correct and fit for purpose
- Provide design and technical support during construction phase
- Preparation of construction drawings and final as-built documents
Our Key Attributes
- We identified electrical clearances issue in the design stage and provided a feasible solution by repositioning the 132kV disconnector base using an adaptor plate.
- Liaised with the steel work and clamps suppliers to identify the least cost solutions and to minimise the site modification works.
