Project Scope
The client has constructed boreholes for two 150kV 800 mmsq cable circuit using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD). However, there is a section where the boreholes were coming too close and that it could impact the current capacity of the circuit. Hence the client wanted to undertake a cable de-rating studies.
Our Scope
- Perform de-rating studies of the cable and model the cable circuit
- Calculate the sustained current capacity
- Prepare a technical report and provide engineering recommendations
